High School Merit Scholarships


Scholarship Award winners were honored at the Spring Luncheon.

The San Diego Alumnae Panhellenic Association is pleased to announce that five Merit Scholarships in the amount of $800.00 each are available to qualified graduating high school women who will be attending a four-year college or university that has National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) Sororities on its campus the following year after graduating. Outstanding applicants will be well-rounded women who demonstrate academic excellence, school and community involvement, and merit.

In order to be considered for this scholarship you must:

  • Complete the attached application
  • Provide a letter of recommendation
  • Provide your high school transcript
  • Plan to attend a four-year institution with Sorority/ Fraternity Life

Applications once complete must be mailed to the Scholarship Chair (address on application) and received by April 01, 2010. Materials needed for submission are a completed application, your highschool transcript, and a letter of recommendation.

National Panhellenic Conference Foundation, Inc.
Your donations to our local high school scholarship fund are tax deductible. Our scholarships are processed through the "National Panhellenic Foundation" which is an IRS recognized 501(c)3 charity. You can verify this by performing an online search at the IRS website and searching "panhellenic". It will come up as "Natioanl Panhellenic Conference Foundation Inc.
